In January 2023, Priscilla filed a petition contesting the “authenticity and validity” of a 2016 amendment Lisa Marie had made that removed her and her former business manager as co-trustees, instead naming her children as trustees. In May 2024, Naussany Investments & Private Lending LLC claimed Lisa Marie borrowed $3.8 million and gave the company a deed of trust encumbering Graceland as security before her death. “The purported note and deed of trust are products of fraud and those individuals who were involved in the creation of such documents are believed to be guilty of the crime of forgery,” Riley alleged in the suit, adding that the LLC may not even be "a real entity."
