Alison Hammond reveals why she turned down new series of Celebrity Big Brother - 23 years after she starred in the regular show


Alison, then 27, appeared on the third series of Big Brother back in 2002 providing her with a career breakthrough. She explained her decision to decline the new series on Magic Radio on Friday.

Other stars reportedly joining this year's show include Coronation Street actor Jack P. Shepherd (pictured) and British Olympic legend Daley Thompson The star usually hosts the programme alongside Dermot O'Leary at the end of the week, while Cat Deeley, 48, and Ben Shephard, 50, present Monday to Thursday, but instead the she was replaced by familiar face Josie Gibson, 40. Alison and Dermot are immensely popular as a TV duo and she has interviewed the likes of Michael Bublé, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Lady Gaga and Hugh Jackman.
