Alison Hammond hits back at trolls after receiving backlash over For The Love of Dogs
Alison Hammond has spoken out after she was trolled for taking over from the late Paul O'Grady on For the Love of Dogs, as she made her debut on the popular ITV show
Taking the reins at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London, Alison, 49, made her debut in the six-part series that premiered on Tuesday, 16 April. Despite stepping into a role once held by the much-adored Paul, who was a dedicated ambassador for the charity and hosted For the Love of Dogs since its inception in 2012, Alison faced some unwarranted flak. ITV added: "There will be dog treats galore and tails wagging all round as Alison sets out to make some new furry friends and help get them all ready for potential new forever homes."
