Alison Brie joins Masters of the Universe live-action film as the villainous Evil-Lyn

Amazon/MGM's Masters of the Universe live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe has found one of its villains with Alison Brie signing on.

Plot details for the new live-action film are being kept under wraps at the moment, so it isn't clear how closely it will stick to the original animated series. Each action figure would come with a mini-comic that would detail the character's origins, which ultimately paved the way for children's books and a DC Comics run. She is best known for roles on AMC's Mad Men and NBC's Community, though she is also an accomplished writer, penning films Horse Girl, Spin Me Round and Somebody I Used To Know, the latter of which was directed by husband Dave Franco.
