Alice Hirson dead at 95: Full House star who also played Ellen DeGeneres' mom passes away
Alice Hirson, known for acting roles on sitcoms including Full House and Ellen, has died at the age of 95.
The veteran actress took her last breath at Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, California, where she'd lived for the past year. Hirson made numerous soap opera appearances including starring as Stephanie Martin on The Edge of Night, Marsha Davis on Another World and its spinoff Somerset, and Eileen Siegel on One Life to Live.
