Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Yash Raj Spy Universe Film Sets ‘The Railway Men’ Helmer Shiv Rawail as Director (EXCLUSIVE)
The first female-led film in leading Indian studio Yash Raj Films' spy universe has found its director in Shiv Rawail.
Rawail, who had previous stints as assistant director on Yash Raj Films productions “Dhoom 3,” starring Aamir Khan, and “Fan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, debuted as a director with the studio’s 2023 Netflix series “The Railway Men.” The four-part series deals with the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy and marks the first in a creative partnership between the streamer and YRF. “Pathaan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, was one of the biggest Indian hits of 2023. He is young and has a brilliant pulse on what the youth would want to consume as entertainment as is evident with the global success that he has delivered under the guidance of Aditya Chopra.
