Alexander Skarsgård breaks down Murderbot's relationships, recalls how he 'fell in love' with the rogue android

Alexander Skarsgård teases Murderbot's 'biggest nightmare' and breaks down the rogue android's relationships with "space hippie" crewmembers Dr. Mensah, Gurathin, and Ratthi.

Having just embarked on an anguishing revenge quest in The Northman and embraced hedonistic horror in Infinity Pool, the new series from Chris and Paul Weitz was a nice change of pace. Based on Martha Wells' best-selling sci-fi saga, The Murderbot Diaries, the 10-episode series follows a security robot, owned by a futuristic megacorporation, that is rented to protect the crew of a space exploration mission. The two-episode premiere sees the SecUnit assigned to protect a group of "space hippies" that it immediately deems incompetent: Preservation Alliance leader Dr. Ayda Mensah ( Noma Dumezweni) and her team of scientists, Gurathin ( David Dastmalchian), Ratthi (Akshay Khanna), Bharadwaj (Tamara Podemski), Arada (Tattiawna Jones), and Pin-Lee (Sabrina Wu).
