Alex Scott, 39, headed up to Manchester on Wednesday to surprise her girlfriend Jess Glynne, 34, who is in the city promoting her third studio album Jess.
The sports presenter, 39, beamed as she met the singer and the sweet couple both wore blue denim and sunglasses. A video obtained by MailOnline shows the moment her parents interrupted her set to hand her the accolade, as she joins an elite group of successful artists. Ed Sheeran was the first person to receive the award, since then it has been given to the likes of ABBA, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Ellie Goulding.
