An 'Elden Ring' movie from director Alex Garland is officially in the works at A24, which confirmed the attachment today.

A24 has now confirmed what’s been rumored for weeks — that Alex Garland will write and direct a live-action Elden Ring film for A24 and video game company Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. Peter Rice is set to produce alongside Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich from DNA, as well as George R. R. Martin and Vince Gerardis. Released to critical acclaim in February 2022, Elden Ring is an action RPG set in an authentic dark fantasy world, which allows players to head off on adventures within vast environments and dungeons.
