Alesha Dixon's girl group Mis-Teeq 23 years after 1st hit – huge feud, booze and quitting for S Club
Miss-Teeq were one of the biggest girl groups of the noughties with their catchy raps and garage sound - but what have they been up to since splitting up in 2005?
The journey for the iconic group began back in 1997 when now-BGT judge Alesha Dixon and her fellow band member Sabrina Washington crossed paths at Dance Attic studios in Fulham, London. However, Tina later left to become a part of S Club 7 after impressing Spice Girls' impresario Simon Fuller at an audition, leading to Zena McNally and Su-Elise Nash joining the lineup, and thus Mis-Teeq was born. After the band's split, she returned to academia, earning a teaching qualification and fulfilling her dream of opening the Su-Elise Stage School in Gravesend, Kent, with additional branches in Dulwich, Brentford, Cranbrooke, Croydon, Paddock Wood.
