Baldwin, 66, was initially charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in January 2023 after he was holding a prop weapon that contained real bullets on the film’s set in New Mexico back in 2021. In October 2021, a prop gun held by Alec fired a single round that injured Rust director Joel Souza and killed Hutchins, who was 42 when she died. “I wandered into Pure Food and Wine on Irving Place, on an unseasonably warm February evening,” Alec recalled via Instagram in 2019.
