Alec Baldwin looks tense after skipping Rust premiere where audience gasped during shooting scene


Alec Baldwin was seen in New York City on Wednesday, mere hours after skipping the premiere of his controversial film Rust in Poland, where the audience gasped at a shooting scene.

Vulture’s Nick Newman described the chilling moment in his review: 'The first time a trigger is pulled in Rust, it clicks on an empty barrel; the second leads to a character’s accidental death, engendering a full-bore gasp from premiere attendees.' The 66-year-old actor wore a tense expression as he strolled near Chelsea Piers —far removed from the Rust premiere, where the audience gasped at a scene eerily mirroring the on-set tragedy in which Baldwin accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins Rust is set to premiere at the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival in Toruń, Poland on Wednesday, November 20 - but Hutchins' mother Olga Solovey (pictured 2023) told THR she will not be attending and lambasted Baldwin for 'increasing my pain'
