The New York City-based brand, best known for their sleek, durable, hard-shelled suitcases, announced this week the highly anticipated launch of a softside luggage line, which will become available to shop on the Away website and in stores on July 9. To announce the upcoming launch, Away released a playful campaign starring New York celebrities, such as “Succession” actor Alan Ruck, comedians Megan Stalter and Ben Marshall, skateboarder Tyshawn Jones and art critic Jerry Staltz. Plus, some new features for the Softside traveler include two no-show exterior front pockets for added and accessible organization, a top flap opening that boasts even more interior organization and opens to a spacious main compartment, a proprietary stabilizer so your bag stays upright when it’s full and new matching TSA-accepted padlock.
