Al Roker's awkward on-air moment with Lenny Kravitz after Today host mocks singer's guitarist

Lenny, 60, was performing live with his band on the Today Plaza and chatted with Al, 70, and cohosts Craig Melvin, Sheinelle Jones, and Dylan Dreyer in between songs, but he wasn't overly impressed with one of the weather presenter's comments. When Craig, 45, took the time to thanks Lenny's band, Al joked: 'And you've got Howard Stern playing guitar,' referring to the musician's striking resemblance to the controversial radio show host. Sheinelle commented before the show cut to Carson Daly, who was keen to discuss the 2024 MTV VMAs, but not before he mocked his cohost and said: 'Al, you are off to a great start this morning, you had me at Friday, now the guitar player hates you....'
