'Today' show weatherman Al Roker joins Baked By Melissa founder Melissa Ben-Ishay in her kitchen to make his favorite pancakes

“Here’s what’s cooking in your neck of the woods!” Ben-Ishay captioned the video, referring to Roker’s signature Today show catchphrase. Ben-Ishay then left Roker with a controversial suggestion, adding salt to the pancakes after dousing them with syrup. “I’m not gonna judge anybody,” the Today show host, 70, told the Daily Mail in an interview published on Saturday, November 9, while promoting his new cookbook Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By: Easy, Memory-Making Family Dishes for Every Occasion.
