The long-gestating Al Pacino, Katie Holmes mob drama 'Captivated' is set for an imminent Rome shoot with producer Andrea Iervolino boarding the film.
Italian producer Andrea Iervolino has boarded “Captivated,” a mob thriller starring Al Pacino and Katie Holmes that seeks to provide a different take on the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III than Ridley Scott’s “All the Money in the World.” The long-gestating film is set to start shooting in Rome later this month. “Amid psychological tension and subtle desire, theirs is a seductive game of chess that adds a crucial layer to the mystery of the Getty kidnapping.” As Mammoliti told Variety in 2017, he has been working on a project for years to provide his family’s version of the story after being angered by how they were portrayed in “All the Money in the World.”
