Al Pacino Reveals He 'Nearly Died' of Covid-19 in 2020

Actor Al Pacino had a near-death experience in 2020, when he lost consciousness while sick with Covid-19, and now he’s not sure there’s life after death

In an interview with the New York Times, Pacino, 84, explained that his experience with the virus began with feeling “unusually not good” before he developed a fever and dehydration, which triggered a rapid deterioration and a loss of pulse. In a separate interview with People ahead of the publication of his autobiography, Sonny Boy, this Tuesday (October 8), Pacino says he has his “great assistant” to thank for saving his life. When the baby boy was three months old, Alfallah successfully filed for sole physical custody, with a rep explaining that the arrangement did not mean the couple had split.
