Al Pacino Reveals Frightening Details of Near-Death Experience at Home: ‘I Was Gone’


Al Pacino opened up about how a severe bout with COVID nearly killed him in 2020. 'I didn’t have a pulse,' the actor recalled of the scary moment at home.

Although the actor was in a near-death state where others say they catch a glimpse of a heavenly afterlife, he says, “I didn’t see the white light or anything. The frightening close call occurred in 2020, when Pacino contracted a serious COVID infection, suffering symptoms that included a fever. Even without experiencing evidence of an afterlife, the Scarface star says he takes comfort in knowing when he does go to that big theater in the sky, he’ll leave behind four children as well as an eternal body of work.
