Airbnb Offers Temporary Housing to People Impacted by Los Angeles Wildfires

Airbnb is offering temporary housing to people impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. Here's how to host or find housing on Airbnb.

“To support residents who have been displaced from their homes or forced to evacuate by the wildfires, Airbnb.org is working with 211 LA, which serves Los Angeles County, to offer free, temporary housing,” an announcement on their website reads. As of Wednesday afternoon, strong winds in Los Angeles are continuing to feed several fires in the area, with the devastating Pacific Palisades blaze causing more than 30,000 people to evacuate the neighborhood as well as parts of Malibu and Santa Monica. On early Wednesday morning, the city of Malibu urged its residents who were not already under an evacuation order to be prepared to leave quickly if the fire conditions worsen as expected.
