Airbnb Is Renting Out the Colosseum for Up to 16 Lucky Guests to Live Out Their ‘Gladiator’ Fantasies
Airbnb is opening the doors to Rome's historic Colosseum for up to 16 guests for an unforgettable experience as part of their new Icons category.
The group will then descend into the hypogeum, the underground chambers, determine their gladiator type by donning the provided armor and prepare for battle. This one-of-a-kind experience marks the first time the historic site will be open to the public after dark, returning to its centuries-long purpose for battle and live performance. Other immersive experiences, many of which are overnight stays, include the X-Men 97 mansion, the “Up” balloon house, Riley’s Headquarters from “Inside Out 2, Prince’s “Purple Rain” home and more.
