Aimee Lou Wood’s BBC Comedy-Drama ‘Film Club’ Adds Nabhaan Rizwan & Suranne Jones


'Sex Education's Aimee-Lou Wood will co-create and star in a BBC romantic comedy series, with Suranne Jones also cast.

She is penning Film Club with Ralph Davis( House of the Dragon), who is also starring in the show alongside Nabhaan Rizwan ( Kaos, In Camera), Suranne Jones( Vigil, Doctor Foster), Adam Long ( Happy Valley, Masters of the Air) and Liv Hill ( Three Girls, The Serpent Queen). Evie also has to handle her eccentric family, which comprises fiercely loving single mum Suz (Jones), sister Izzie (Hill), and handsome boyfriend/sometime man of the house Josh (Long). Stella Merz ( Gentleman Jack, Renegade Nell) is producer and Catherine Morshead ( Daddy Issues, The Full Monty) will direct the series.
