Aimee Lou Wood Says Crying Photos Were 'Unrelated’ to ‘SNL’ Controversy

White Lotus’ Aimee Lou Wood addressed photos crying in the streets of London after calling out Saturday Night Live’s ‘mean and unfunny’ parody of her

“Thank you so much,” the actress told fans in an Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, April 15, reacting to their support of the recent SNL controversy. In pictures obtained by TMZ and Page Six, Wood, 31, can be seen crying and comforted by a friend in the British capital, just a day after she called out Saturday Night Live ’s “mean and unfunny” parody of her White Lotus character. The Sex Education star’s public display of emotion came after an SNL sketch that aired on NBC on Saturday, April 12, featured a caricature of her White Lotus character, Chelsea.
