Aidan Quinn & Steve Buscemi Working On Movie Adaptation Of Sam Shepard Play ‘Ages Of The Moon’
Aidan Quinn & Steve Buscemi are working on a film adaptation of Sam Shepard play Ages of the Moon; Quinn will direct from an Oren Moverman screenplay.
Quinn and Buscemi performed a reading of the play last year in the same venue before doing the same over three nights at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York this Jan. “We had a great night in Dublin and I just fell in love with this piece so much that I’ve now bought the rights to it and we’re developing it as a screenplay,” Quinn told Deadline. Speaking to Deadline from the set of The Walsh Sisters, the RTE and BBC TV adaptation of Marianne Keyes’ bestselling novels, the actor said the hopes is that cameras roll later this year.
