After Roasting Tom Brady and Launching the HBO/Max special ‘Someday You’ll Die’, Nikki Glaser is in talks to host ‘Saturday Night Llive.’
Glaser, who has been working in comedy for more than 20 years, knows that she needs to take advantage of this moment, where she was one of the stars of Netflix’s biggest-ever live event and her stand-up special broke records for HBO and Max. “I just got done working so hard on the special and the roast, and I kind of want a break, but this put so much attention on me that more stuff is coming in and you just got to strike while the iron, and I, am hot,” she said. Taped in December in front of a sold-out audience at the Moore Theater in Seattle, Someday You’ll Die sees Glaser diving into a wide range of topics including why she doesn’t want kids, the harsh realities of aging, her sexual fantasies and plans for her own death.
