Pompeii is closer in spirit for many of the shows that Bauer was known for at Tandem such as The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. Rola approached me a few years ago with the idea for this remake, and as a passionate supporter of the project, I’m thrilled she’s bringing her expertise and vision for the series in this new role.” David W.
