Adrien Brody Says a Makeup Person on The Brutalist Mistook His Nose for a Prosthetic and Tried to 'Remove' It

Adrien Brody said that a makeup person on 'The Brutalist' tried to remove his real nose, thinking he was wearing a prosthetic. "She says, 'Oh, I'm so sorry.' And then she goes, 'This is going in my diary,' " he recalled with a laugh.

Brody is nominated for Best Actor at the upcoming Academy Awards for his role in The Brutalist as fictional Hungarian-Jewish architect László Tóth, who arrives in the United States in 1947 after surviving World War II and the Holocaust.
