Adriel Favela & Octavio Cuadras’ ‘Esquizofrénico’ & More: Which Is Your Favorite New Latin Music Release of the Week?

From Adriel Favela and Octavio Cuadras' team up to Paulo Londra and Luísa Sonza's collab, vote for your favorite Latin music release this week.

Adriel Favela and Octavio Cuadras kick off the new year with a “happy corrido.” The two música mexicana hitmakers team up for “Esquizofrénico,” which thrives on a vibrant horn section and requinto melodies. The song honors cumbia, a genre that originated in Colombia but is also super popular in other Latin American countries like Argentina and Mexico. The 17-track set, with producers like Tainy, MAG and La Paciencia, is an ode to Puerto Rico and the music that has soundtracked the island for generations.
