Adele Reiterates She’s Taking ‘Incredibly Long’ Break From Music When Vegas Residency Ends

Adele concluded her Munich residency Saturday, during which she reiterated her plan to take a long break from music when her Las Vegas residency ends.

The singer added that she intended for the Munich residency to be the last shows of the 30 era, but those plans changed when she rescheduled her postponed Las Vegas dates for the fall. In a radio interview in July, Adele first revealed that she would step away from music to focus on family and other “creative things” after her residencies ended; Adele’s Las Vegas residency launched at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November 2022, with that run spanning 100 shows by the time it ends this November. Earlier this year, Adele acknowledged the limitations her fans face when their only option to see her live is to catch a flight to Vegas or Munich.
