Adele Pauses Las Vegas Residency, Cites Illness

AdeleKevin Mazur/Getty Images Fans who are flocking to Las Vegas to see Adele are about to have their hearts broken: the Grammy-winning artist revealed on Instagram that she’s going on sick leave. “Sadly, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency,” she wrote on Instagram Feb. 27. I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately it’s all taken a toll on my voice.
