Adele Concludes Vegas Residency: ‘I Don’t Know When I Next Want to Perform’

Adele delivered a tearful goodbye speech during her final Las Vegas residency date on Saturday, adding, ‘I don’t know when I next want to perform.’

It has been an emotional weekend for pop stars, with Adele bidding adieu to her Las Vegas residency, and Taylor Swift ending her Toronto Eras Tour run with a teary goodbye. “I’m so sad this residency is over but I am so glad that it happened, I really, really am,” she said, going on to explain how “rocky” it was to initially launch (the run was originally supposed to begin in January 2022, but it was postponed; it finally kicked off in November 2022). She also tearfully thanked her son, Angelo, adding, “I chose to do a residency so I could keep his life normal,” and also expressed gratitude for her partner, Rich Paul, for his support.
