Addison Rae Wants You to Listen With Your ‘Headphones On’

Addison Rae released her new single “Headphones On” ahead of her debut album, out June 6.

“Guess I gotta accept the pain/Need a cigarette to make me feel better/Every good thing comes my way/So I still get dolled up,” sings Addison Rae in the chorus. Last weekend, Rae made a surprise appearance during Arca’s set at Coachella to perform their collaboration “Arcamarine / Aquamarine,” during which she revealed the release date for her anticipated debut album, June 6, on her pink underwear. Rae spoke to Rolling Stone earlier this year and shared that she worked with songwriters Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd, who are signed to Max Martin’s publishing company, MxM Music, to produce the album.
