The 23-year-old performer made her start as a singer with the release of her first single, Obsessed, which came out in 2021, and she followed up the record with the debut of her 2023 EP, entitled AR.
Rae went on to speak about how several of her demos were leaked onto the internet following the release of Obsessed, and stated that she was subsequently inspired to complete work on her debut EP.
