Blink49 Studios, the Canadian production group backed by Fifth Season, is staffing up in formats and branded content. Steinman has spent the last couple of years under an overall deal at Walt Disney Television Alternative through his company Mount Royal Films after joining from Warner Bros. International Television Production, where he spent over 13 years working on formats such as The Bachelor and Impractical Jokers. Based in LA, he has been tasked with identifying, acquiring, and developing entertainment formats in scripted and unscripted.
