Adam J. Graves, Director of Oscar-Nominated Short ‘Anuja,’ Inks With Authentic
Filmmaker Adam J. Graves has signed with Authentic Talent & Literary Management after scoring an Oscar nomination for his short 'Anuja.'
Set in the garment factories of Delhi, Anuja tells the story of a gifted nine-year-old girl who is offered the rare opportunity to attend school — forcing her to make a life-altering decision that will shape her and her sister’s futures. Shine Global, the nonprofit production company known for championing children’s rights through film, partnered on Anuja to lead its social impact campaign. Other past works include the award-winning 2021 short Cycle Vérité, as well as The Other Side of the Sun, a documentary he produced that follows an unhoused Anishinaabe man’s fight to reclaim land in the heart of Hollywood.
