Adam Driver To Star In Kenneth Lonergan Play ‘Hold On To Me Darling’ Off Broadway This Fall
Adam Driver will star in a new Off Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan’s Hold on to Me Darling this fall, producers announced today.
Previews begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on Tuesday, September 24, ahead of an official opening night on Wednesday, October 16. The official synopsis: On learning of his mother’s death, country music icon Strings McCrane (Driver) finds himself in an existential tailspin. Off Broadway’s Lortel is on a roll: Last year, Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott broke house box office records with their sold-out production of John Patrick Shanley’s Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
