David joins Loki star Wunmi Mosaku as former Met Police Detective Riya Ajunwa, who's job is to investigate the strange and eerie events in the town in the upcoming drama The TV series, which focused on single dad Frank and his several kids on Manchester's Chatsworth council estate, launched the careers of stars including James McAvoy, Anne-Marie Duff and Maxine Peake. Away from Shameless, actor David has also acted in other TV roles including Funny Woman, Ricky Gervais' dark comedy Afterlife, Troy and Charles Dickens' adaptation Dodger.
