Acting legend dead at 93 after starring in 60 films over career
French acting legend Pierre Vernier, who was a part of the 'Bande du Conservatoire' and who appeared in around 60 films, has died at the age of 93, it has been confirmed
Best known for his frequent collaborations with his dear friend Bebel, he lit up the screen in films such as Le professionnel in 1981 and Itineraire d'un enfant gate in 1988, giving a memorable performance as a priest. Pierre might not have been a household name, but he was a familiar figure among audiences with his refined portrait, thoughtful gaze and iconic brown hair, reports the Mirror. On the stage, Pierre performed under the guidance of esteemed directors including Raymond Rouleau, Georges Wilson, Jean-Louis Barrault and Roger Planchon.
