Across ‘The Metroverse’: Metro Boomin to Launch Comic Book Series
The super producer channels his inner superhero in the series’ first issue, ‘The Rise
It didn’t take mystic powers for Metro Boomin to become one of the most prolific producers of the last decade, but in a new comic book series, he tries some on for size. On June 14, Metro – born Leland Wayne – will release the first issue of The Metroverse, where he stars as himself, a talented musician – only bulletproof, with super strength and speed that intensify the more he uses them for good. They will also be sold (along with limited edition merchandise) at an interactive pop-up at Complex Los Angeles at 433 N Fairfax Ave on Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time.
