Acclaimed BBC drama to return next month two years after receiving rave reviews for debut series


The BBC are giving an acclaimed drama its second series two after rave reviews. The Scottish murder mystery's debut was a BBC iPlayer hit, racking up more than seven million streams.

The synopsis for the first installment of season two reads: 'When drug kingpin Grace McFadden's (Lesley Hart) notorious fixer turns up dead, the MIT have their work cut out to find the source of a new cocaine and ketamine compound flooding the streets. 'At the dockside, Lindo and Bart's suspicions are raised by the guarded behaviour of Captain Anders Nilsen and his protege Axel Berg from the Stolthet, a Norwegian cargo ship which recently arrived in Aberdeen. They will be joined by new cast members including Hart, Patrick Robinson as Grantley, Afsaneh Dehrouyeh as Mariam, Søren Malling as Captain Anders Nilsen and Christopher Rygh as Axel Berg.
