Academy Moves Oscar Nominations Announcement To January 19 & Extends Voting Period
The Motion Picture Academy has extended the voting period for nominations which started today. Nominees will now be announced January 19
The changes also include timings of various screenings and bakeoffs as well, and the Academy also closed the Museum today due to the dangerous fire situation across Los Angeles. Members of the Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Branch are invited to participate in a virtual discussion with the designated nominees that will be held on Saturday, January 11 – with details to follow soon.
