Abigail Breslin said she received 'death threats' after appearing to call out Katy Perry via X on Wednesday. Fans thought the star slammed the singer for working with producer Dr. Luke.
The Scream Queens alum, 28, revealed the backlash she faced following a tweet that some fans interpreted as slamming the Firework singer for working with producer Dr. Luke on her upcoming album; (Perry in June) 'Also, I've been a long time advocate against SA (sexual abuse) and DV (domestic violence),' she tweeted, 'so I'm not gonna stop speaking out about it regardless of how many of you tell me to im worthless and disgusting and awful.' But, insiders claim Katy was desperate to collaborate with the Grammy-nominated producer – despite his lengthy court battle over allegations of sexual abuse – because of their previous chart success with tracks including I Kissed A Girl and Teenage Dream.
