An ABC spokesperson shut down rumors of a feud between GMA costars Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, calling the claims 'unfounded.'
“This is unfounded, ridiculous gossip designed to get clicks and nothing more,” an ABC spokesperson told The U.S. Sun in a statement on March 21 after the feud rumors surfaced. In fact, in April 2022, when Robin celebrated her 20-year anniversary of being a GMA cohost, George shared some sweet words about his colleague’s journey on the show. I’m always feeling, if I could be half the woman she is … and I don’t think anyone comes close, always bringing endless energy and two dazzling decades of dancing,” the former political advisor said at the time.
