ABC Renews ‘The Bachelor,’ ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ ‘American Idol’ and More Unscripted Shows
ABC is renewing high-profile unscripted series for the 2024-2025 TV season including "American Idol," "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars."
This will rep the first season since the ABC revival without Katy Perry, who is departing the chair she has held with fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. Claire Freeland, Jason Ehrlich, Bennett Graebner, Peter Gust, Tim Warner, Jodi Baskerville and Jeff Thomas are executive producers. Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill, Yun Lingner, Max Swedlow, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary, Phil Gurin and Brandon Wallace are executive producers of “Shark Tank,” which is produced by MGM Television in association with Sony Pictures Television.
