Rob Marciano, a longtime meteorologist at ABC News and weekend 'Good Morning America,' is leaving the network
Rob Marciano, a longtime meteorologist at ABC News known for his appearances on weekend broadcasts of “ Good Morning America,” has left the network, according to a person familiar with the matter. Marciano had been with ABC News since 2014, and filled a role on “GMA” that had previously been occupied by Ginger Zee, who now appears on the morning franchise during weekday programs. Prior to taking those roles, he worked at local TV and radio stations including KATU in Portland, Oregon, KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana and WVIT in West Hartford, Connecticut.
