The Alphabet web is touting its performance among adults 18-49 as Nielsen ‘s first year of its expansive multiplatform ratings — including both linear and streaming data for the first time — continues to provide good news for the broadcast networks. Just as CBS last week had a strong story to tell in the overall total viewer space, ABC is proclaiming victory in the adults 18-49 demo with broadcast entertainment original series. “It’s refreshing and powerful to have measurement that captures how people watch TV in a modern era,” said Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group.
