Abbott Elementary starring Quinta Brunson is renewed for a fourth season on ABC... just days after season three debut

Abbott Elementary has just started classes for the 2024 school year, but the Emmy winning comedy will continue matriculating into 2025.

The good news was announced by school custodian Mr. Johnson, aka William Stanford Davis, 72, during Disney’s Television Critics Association Press Tour, according to Deadline. The storyline explained the show's absence from the air waves due to the writers and actors strikes which shut down production for several months over the summer in a unique way. Show creator and star Quinta Brunson, 32, won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Pictured in Los Angeles in January)
