Though with Fox’s Marvel properties going through multiple timeline resets following his last appearance, fans were left wondering what version of the character he played in Deadpool and Wolverine. In an exclusive talk with Heroic Hollywood, Stanford revealed his pitch for a story set in an entirely different Marvel universe, one that sent Pyro down a much darker path than the original films. While it’s not likely that Marvel will be greenlighting a Pyro Disney Plus series anytime soon, it seems Aaron Stanford was able to see parts of his vision for his return come to light in Deadpool and Wolverine.
