Aaron Sorkin Endorses Kamala Harris After Suggesting Mitt Romney: “I Take It All Back”


The West Wing creator says that he now supports Kamala Harris.

Aaron Sorkin is reversing course on his recommendation for what the Democrats should do if faced with the prospect of Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 presidential race. Earlier today, Sorkin had published an op ed in The New York Times, recommending a new “script” for Democrats: An open convention where they nominate Mitt Romney to be the party’s standard bearer. “Surely Mr. Romney, who doesn’t have to be introduced to voters, would peel off enough Republican votes to win, probably by a lot,” Sorkin wrote.
