Aaron Rodgers referenced his new relationship and discussed private battles away from the football field as NFL retirement chatter lingers
Rodgers, 41, is a free agent for the first time in his NFL career after the quarterback and the New York Jets parted ways in February following two tumultuous seasons. “I’m in a different phase of my life,” Rodgers said on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show during a Thursday, April 17 video call from his home in Malibu. The actor, 52, met the NFL quarterback in the summer of 2008 when the two played at the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe.
