Rodgers has made a series of trips to Costa Rica over the years to participate in traditional ayahuasca ceremonies, which he detailed in his 2024 Netflix docuseries, Enigma. Rodgers is coming off a disappointing season as quarterback for the New York Jets, which saw the team finish 5-12 after entering the year with Super Bowl aspirations.
